Who We Are

The Downtown Grind is a locally owned and operated coffee and specialty beverage house located in the heart of downtown Knoxville. We share a space with our parent company, Prestige Cleaners, in the lower level of the historic Phoenix building. We’re a little coffee shop with big flavor that strives to provide locally sustainable, eco friendly and organic products whenever possible.

Our Staff

If you’ve stopped by our little coffee shop in the morning or for a mid day pick-me-up surely you recognize Robin’s smiling face! Robin has been with Prestige Cleaners for 10 years, and when the coffee shop opened up in 2006 we couldn’t think of anyone more perfect to handle the task.
